Hey! I’m Teddy.
I’m a film researcher and video producer/editor based in Washington, D.C.
As a masters candidate in Georgetown’s M.A. in Communication, Culture, and Technology, I study the moving image, Internet culture, and media history.
I also work full time leading video production for Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
Prior to moving to D.C., I lived in Spain, Belgium, France, and Virginia.

Some fun facts about me:
I have an affinity for Brazilian rock, French film, and Swedish Fish.
I’ve sung at Carnegie Hall.
Donuts are my favorite food.
I speak French, Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
I lost 150 pounds in two years.
I love a good game of Banangrams.
Learner
Whether it’s speaking a foreign language or animating motion graphics, there’s nothing I love more than an intellectual challenge.
My curiosity drives me to improve myself and the world around me, and I love finding new ways to expand my mind.
My Clifton Strengths
Developer
For me, learning is social. I love sharing what I learn with others by producing eye-catching video essays, mentoring one-on-one, and writing compelling research.
These are the ways that I build community and foster relationships.
Empathy
What drives my research is a desire to find better ways to create community and understand each other in an increasingly mediated world.
Whether volunteering for Ward 4 Mutual Aid or hosting movie nights, I seek opportunities to create connection and craft spaces for mutual understanding.
